"I started thinking of doing Shakespeare outdoors in a small setting after I directed Lysistrata in the Great Basin College amphitheater. In 2011, during a conversation with Duncan LittleCreek Gallery’s Jacques Errecart, Joan and Jennifer Anderson, I mentioned the idea, and they asked if the show could be staged in their backyard. I thought this was wonderful synergy of the Bard, a beautiful outdoor setting, and the artsy atmosphere of DLC. One of my best friends, actor Heidi DuSoleil, came up with the title, Bard in the Yard. And now we're on our fourth one!"
"Playing outdoors in this unique environment will be an amazing experience for our audience, actors, and technicians."
“It is an honor to partner with Duncan LittleCreek Gallery and the Silver Stage Players! We could not do this project without their generous support!"
